Dr. Frank Veninga is a native of Dallas, Texas who has dedicated himself to helping patients overcome the diseases and social stigma related to obesity. Our board-certified surgeon has advanced training and specializes in abdominal surgery. Dr. Veninga practices state-of-the-art bariatric surgery at the Baylor Medical Center in Carrollton. Dr. Veninga and BMC have been designated by the Surgical Review Corporation / American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery as a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence. He also practices at the Prestonwood Surgery Center, Forest Park Medical Center, and the Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. In recognition of his standing in the medical community, D Magazine named Dr. Veninga as one of "The Best Doctors in Dallas 2007" in bariatric surgery after conducting a poll of area physicians.
